Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium butternut squash
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Peel the butternut squash using a vegetable peeler and cut it in half. Remove the seeds and slice the squash into thin fry-shaped pieces.
  • In a large bowl, toss the butternut squash fries with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  • Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure they are not overcrowded to ensure crispiness.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are golden brown and tender.
  • Remove the fries from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
