Eyeball Meatballs: A Spooky Recipe for Halloween Fun!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 jar 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • Olives black and green for decoration

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1-2 inches in diameter.
  • Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes.
  • While the meatballs are baking, heat the marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Once the meatballs are cooked, add them to the sauce, ensuring they are well coated.
  • To create the "eyeballs," place a slice of mozzarella cheese on top of each meatball, followed by a slice of olive to mimic the pupil.
  • Return the meatballs to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your spooky Eyeball Meatballs!
