Instructions
 

  • Follow these simple steps to create your own batch of Monster Truffles:
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, bring the heavy cream to a simmer.
  • Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate, stirring until smooth.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  • Let the mixture cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for about 2 hours until firm.
  • Once the mixture is firm, use a melon baller or your hands to scoop out small amounts and roll them into balls.
  • Roll the truffles in cocoa powder, powdered sugar, or crushed nuts as desired.
