Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan or use a silicone mold.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
In another bowl, mix the milk, eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and allow the donuts to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
Once cooled, frost the donuts with chocolate frosting.
Decorate with chocolate sprinkles and place edible candy eyes on top.
Finally, add licorice or pipe cleaners as spider legs, positioning them to create a spooky effect.
